Kia Motors Named Official Automotive Partner of LPGA

Kia is looked at as a rising star in the automotive world. The company's model line-up of sturdy, affordable automobiles continues to expand, and subsequently the company worth is also increasing. To build on its success, Kia Motors America has partnered with the LPGA (Ladies Pro Golf Association). Kia will serve as the "Official Automotive Partner of the LPGA" and the "Official Tournament Vehicle" of eight LPGA tournaments.

So how do Cars and the woman's division of Golf come together anyway? Michael Sprague, Vice President of Marketing and Communications for Kia, recently delivered some details, "Kia is experiencing unprecedented growth and our growing roster of high-profile sports marketing initiatives, including our presence with the LPGA, have led to dramatic increases in consumer perception, awareness and consideration for the brand. Attendance and TV viewership of the Kia Classic tournament has grown, and with the tour's talented field of exciting young players sparking more interest in the sport, it was an easy decision to expand our relationship. . . "1 As a result, Kia and the LPGA make great partners, due to the mutual benefits each receives; each creates better awareness for the other's brand.

Kia will also sponsor the Kia Performance Awards, which will be highlighted throughout the season on LPGA telecasts and on the LPGA.com website. There will be a special Kia "hole-in-one" vehicle on select Par 3 courses during rounds at each event where Kia serves as the "Official Tournament Vehicle." La Costa Resort and Spa will host next season's Kia Classic.
