Find the Kia Rio 5-Door (a.k.a. the "Subcompact Car of the Year") at Peters Kia of Nashua

The 2012 Kia Rio puts the fun in functional, with a sophisticated powertrain, best-in-class horsepower and up to 40 miles per gallon (mpg)/highway. Its eco-friendly features don't stop at the car's gas tank, either. Rather, they're integrated throughout the entire vehicle. Furthermore, 85-percent of the Kia Rio subcompact's body is made from recyclable materials. Add another door to the mix and you have the 2012 Kia Rio Five-door, rounding out attractive fuel-economy, performance and handling with added versatility. 

This isn't bravado, but the facts. Previously, the 2012 Kia Rio Five-door (now available to drivers in the Manchester area) earned the US EPA SmartWay Certification Mark, which is reserved for vehicles that achieve a minimum score of six on the Greenhouse Gas Score.

More recently, the 2012 Kia Rio 5-door earned a more all-encompassing title, which we at Peters Kia of Nashua believe better reflects all of the car's many features and benefits.  Specifically, the new Kia Rio 5-door was named, "Subcompact Car of the Year" by FAMA's Mujeres Al Volante. FAMA, for those not familiar with the publication represents the leading  contemporary Spanish lifestyle magazine. The Mujeres Al Volante is a group of discerning U.S. Hispanic women.

Speaking on their decision to award thenew 2012 Kia Rio with the prestigious "Subcompact Car of the Year" award, Ileana Muniz, Editor-in-Chief, FAMA's  Autos Mujeres Al Volante says, "The [Kia] Rio 5-door has exceeded our expectations and we think it's in the top of its class...On top of outstanding design, the Rio 5-door handles well and is environmentally friendly with 40 MPG and ISG technology."1
